Tag and Digital artwork

Happy Weekend All and thank you for joining me here at Jumbled Crafts. Our weather forecast isn't very good and we seem to be inline for some flooding--it maybe just the sea that is going to coming over the seawall but it does cause a lot of damage when that happens. Hope it is nice where you are.

A Vintage Journey have their Third birthday this challenge and the theme is All Aboard. Happy birthday to the wonderful team there and for all the inspiration on the various ways to use Tim Holtz products.
Also the theme at
Country View Challenges this time is Inspired by Tim Holtz

I cut a tag from some patterned card then I sprayed some white card with Dylusions inks. Added the 'Measured'  Stencil TH5012 and used some of the wonderful things from the Idea ology Expedition Ephemera pack TH933113. The words are by TH and were cut from a page that someone sent to me in a stamped image swap a long time ago. The photograph is of my grandfather who never went on a aeroplane in his life but was very interest to read about them. The stamps at the bottom, dear Valerie sent to me in a envelope full of stamps.

Digitally Sweet Challenge have Anything Goes this week so long as it is 100% digital.

The images are ones I made up a long time ago for various projects and I have added effects to them for this piece. It started out as ----

--this photograph that I took one evening from our hotel bedroom window on Blackpool front. There are some amazing sunsets to be seen along the West coast.

Have a wonderful weekend all

Love Chrissie xx

  11. I am in awe of that tag. I especially like all the elements you added, too. Adding the personal touch of your grandfather helped even more.

Your digital entry is bold and colorful. I would never have guessed the background began with that sky photo. It is almost psychedelic by contrast. Beautiful art in both instances.
